World Youth Day, Krakow
This year, a group of 10 pilgrims from across the Northern Territory traveled on the diocesan pilgrimage to World Youth Day Krakow. It was a life changing and faith enhancing experience in a country rich in history and faith. The theme 'Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy' (Matt 5:7) was fitting for a country that has been so much throughout the years. Our pilgrims especially enjoyed the Days in the Diocese experience in the Parish of Zdzieswice, where they lived with polish families and journeyed with them over a five day program that really touched their hearts. The food, culture, music, faith, pride and passion all captivated our pilgrims! We were blessed to journey with pilgrims from the Brisbane and Rockhampton dioceses and to share the journey with such incredible people, with open hearts.
Pilgrimage Name: Footsteps of Saint John Paul II
